Ok, if you know me, you know that this is my FAVORITE season. Though over the past few years it feels like autumns (and even springs) in Maryland keep getting shorter and shorter! We’ve had a weird summer with some cool fall-like days, so I feel like I was given a small piece of heaven in the middle of an otherwise muggy, swamp-like summer. That’s what DC is you know, a swamp land covered in beautiful architecture and cherry blossoms. They make it look pretty.
For some reason I thought yesterday was the first day of fall, of course I blame the news app that tells me my weather for the day, stating that it wasn’t going to feel like fall, but “WELCOME TO FALL!” … WRONG.
Despite that, today’s first day of autumn is warm and humid. Great. That led me to make this yesterday:
For this I used my Tombow Dual Brush Pens for the “Fall” and my Fude (Soft Tip) for the other text. (PSST! Did you know all Tombow Dual Brush Pens are 20% on the website today?! Go to tombowusa.com to check it out!). I used the blender brush to create the gradient look.
So how is it where you are? Cool and fall like or hot and disgusting still? 😛
Happy fall y’all!
